We believe that every believer in Jesus Christ should be involved in worship. In fact, worship is all that we are, rightly responding to all that God is! Our ministry objective at First Baptist Church Panama City is to uplift the name of Jesus through a lifestyle of daily praise and worship. Psalm 100 says: “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.” At FBC we offer opportunities for you to be involved in worship through the choir, orchestra, audio/visual, praise teams, or just singing with all of your heart from the congregation.
ADULT CHOIR
The Adult Choir is the core of the Music and Worship Ministry at FBC Panama City. The Choir is a group of “worship leaders” all dedicated to magnifying the Name of the Lord and leading God’s people in worship each week.
We are constantly seeking new worshipers to join our team. Come grow with us! No auditions required.
Wednesdays from 6:00-7:15 PM is our choir rehearsal held in the Music Suite.
Orchestra
We are grateful for our instrumentalists at FBC Panama City. The Orchestra plays in the Sunday morning worship services and special events throughout the year. We are always looking for new players to join our team. If you play an instrument, contact us to find out how you can be a part of this exciting ministry.
Wednesdays from 6:45-7:45 PM, the Orchestra rehearses in the Music Suite.
Student choir
Our Student Choir rehearses on Sunday afternoons at 12:00 PM in the Music Suite during certain times of the year. This group is featured on select Sunday morning worship services and at Christmas. This a great opportunity for students to grow the musical knowledge as well as praise the Lord and lead through music and worship.
Kids’ and Preschool CHOIRS
At First Baptist, we put a priority on raising our children in God’s Word so that the ideas behind worship truly stick in their hearts and minds. This is done through Bible teaching, singing Scripture, and presenting musicals with a Godly message. They present musicals twice a year: once at Christmas and once in the spring.
Preschool Choir meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:15 PM. These classes are divided into classes for children ages 3, 4, and 5.
Kids’ Choir meets on Wednesday nights from 5:45-6:30 PM.
