What is Join In?
As we continue building our church around the five functions listed in the second chapter of Acts (discipleship, evangelism, service, worship & fellowship), the focus for 2018 will be on SERVING. The theme throughout the year is “Join IN”. Our desire is to assist every member of FBC in identifying their spiritual gift and help connect them to serve as we edify the body and impact our community.

Administration
Desire to serve God by organizing, administering, promoting, leading.
Giving
Releasing material resources to further the work of the church.
Service
Providing practical help both physically and spiritually.
Evangelism
Passionately leading others to the saving knowledge of Christ.
Mercy
Identifying with and comforting those in need.
Shepherding
Desire to serve God by overseeing, training, and caring for the needs of a group of Christians.
Exhortation
Motivating others to action, application & purpose.
Prophecy
Boldly and fearlessly proclaiming God’s truth.
Teaching
Making clear the truth of God’s word with simplicity & accuracy.

MINISTRY GUIDE 2018
The Ministry Guide is a comprehensive resource that lists all the service opportunities in our church by ministry (ex. Preschool Ministry, Missions, Adult Education).
JOIN IN | Stories
Diane is being used by God as a clerical helper in the church office. The whole reason she became involved in this ministry is simply because she heard they needed help, and she wanted to do something. She says it is a fun way to get involved because the team that works together gets to talk and fellowship while they work. At the same time, they are performing a task that helps the church send out mailings to keep in contact with members and visitors alike. Diane gets great satisfaction out of serving God by serving the church.

Rhonda has been serving in our Preschool Ministry since 2008 and serving on Sunday evenings in Preschool KIDZ for the last five years. The best part of serving all these years is watching kids grow up learning about the love Jesus has for them. It’s Rhonda’s highest honor to love, teach and have fun with the preschoolers. She provides care so parents can worship and learn about our Lord while their little ones do the very same. Being able to see them grow in faith and one day make a profession of faith brings joy and thanksgiving to Rhonda’s heart. The seeds are planted at an early age through this ministry, and she is honored to be a part of it.
