Girls Weekend Retreat

At the Girls Weekend Retreat, girls will grow closer to God and one another as they learn from iconic women of faith, experience moving worship and prayer, and attend personalized breakout sessions at the Girls Lifeway Conference. Our girls will get to have some fun shopping, sight seeing, mountain hiking, and making unforgettable memories with sisters in Christ!

Serve Bay Day is a highlight in the life of our church. Hundreds of people join together in  Sunday School Classes to serve our community. From serving at the Rescue Mission to ministering to Senior adults we have a spot for you. A light breakfast will be served.

This weekend event is for high school guys who want to learn what it means to be a man of God in today's culture. In-depth biblical teaching, epic field games, fishing, building, and various acts of manliness will allow our guys to grow closer to God and one another as they strip manliness down to the bear essentials.

Christmas Eve Service

I encourage you to come to our Christmas Eve service and to bring someone with you. This is always a special time as we sing the Christmas Carols, hear a short devotional, and I share the Christmas story with the children. The service starts at 5:00 PM and usually lasts about forty-five minutes. On this Christmas Eve I invite you to gather with us to adore our Wonderful Savior! - Dr. Craig Conner

Wild Game Dinner

16th Annual Men’s Wild Game Dinner

Thursday, November 16, 2017   Dinner starts at 5:30 PM  Program starts at 7 PM

 

Suggested donations are $6 each or groups of 4 or more $5 each.

Tickets can be purchased at the church office Monday - Thursday or Sunday in the Church Atrium.

 

Our guest speaker this year will be MIKE FLYNT “THE SENIOR”. Mike grew up in Odessa, Texas, graduating from Permian High School in 1966; where he was the starting defensive back on the 1965 State Championship Football Team which inspired the book and movie Friday Night Lights.  He attended Sul Ross State University on a full football scholarship. Mike was the men’s strength and conditioning coach for both the University of Nebraska and Texas A&M University. In 2007 at age of 59 became the oldest linebacker in NCAA history, returning to his alma-mater, Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, to play his senior year of college football.
