Disaster Relief Efforts

In the wake of Hurricane Michael, many people are hurting across our community. We at First Baptist Church Panama City aim to be a house of hope, connecting people and transforming lives for the glory of God! To all our volunteers: we are grateful for your time, talents and efforts as they are greatly needed and appreciated. If you need help, call our mobile office or submit a needs request form. Members, we ask that you submit a needs request form for your family regardless of your needs.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Send a team

First Baptist now has the capability to host teams from out of town who would like to come and provide able bodies, skilled labor, and hard work to shine the light of Jesus on the people of Panama City! If you or your church is interested in sending a team to serve with us, follow the link for more information.

volunteer your time

Many people in our community were heavily affected by the storm, but likewise there are many who weren’t and want to show the love of Christ by serving their neighbors! We need volunteers who can make home visits, remove trees, clear yards, tarp roofs, and more! If you’d like to help, contact us to coordinate.

Give financially

We realize that not everyone has the physical capability to volunteer their labor to provide disaster relief. That’s why we’ve made it easy to give online. Follow the link and select “Disaster Relief” to contribute to our efforts in the community or “Building Fund” to contribute to our efforts in rebuilding our church campus.

“Carry each other’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
