The focus of the ministry to our 1st-5th graders at First Baptist Church is to teach them of God’s love and how they can apply His love to their lives each day. Teaching about God and Jesus plays an important role in helping children understand salvation. We provide a biblical framework for laying a foundation that becomes the pathway to conversion, spiritual growth, and biblical world view. We want children to HEAR God’s Word, KNOW God’s Word, and DO God’s Word!
Sunday school is an exciting, high energy learning time for children 1st - 5th grade. They will meet over in the gym for games, songs, scripture learning, and Bible truths at 8:45 AM and will be escorted over to the worship center for Children’s Worship at 9:45 AM.
Children’s Worship is a unique worship experience for children 1st – 5th grades. Each Sunday morning they will participate in worship at their age level with songs, Biblical foundations, and a message that they can relate to. Our goal for Children’s Worship is to provide a biblical framework and foundation that will lead the children to conversion, spiritual growth, and a biblical worldview. They meet in the choir room at 9:45 AM. Bible Verse Memorization.
Bible Drill exists to raise up a generation of Christ followers through encouraging them to hide God's Word in their heart. Children are encouraged to memorize Scripture both at home and at Bible drills through fun and competition.
